How do I get the best cleaning performance with Purex® 3-in-1™?
Should I add Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ to the washer drum before adding water (and if so, how much water)?
Can Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ be used with other additives—chlorine bleach, color-safe bleach and laundry boosters (e.g., borax)?
Yes, Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ can be used with all general market laundry additives. As always, please read instructions before using additional products.
Can I use chlorine bleach with Purex® 3-in-1™?
Yes, you can you chlorine bleach with Purex® 3-in-1™ just as you would use it with your regular laundry detergent. If you wish to use chlorine bleach, it should be added to the bleach dispenser in the washer or added five minutes after the wash cycle begins.
Does Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ work in all temperatures—both washer and dryer?
Yes, Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ works in all water and dryer temperatures (based on standard temperature levels). For best results, and to save energy, use 3-in-1™ with warm or cold water in the washer, while in the dryer use the Auto Dry function with the medium heat setting.
Can I use Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ to wash clothes in cold water?
Purex® 3-in-1™ provides great cleaning performance in any temperature of water.
Does Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ work on delicates?
We are in the process of running more testing specifically on delicates. But since Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ has similar active compositions to other leading brand laundry care products, we expect the product to perform similarly on delicates.
Is it color safe (colorfastness)?
Similar to other leading brand laundry detergents, the product is safe to use for color clothes.
Can you use Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ for hand washing?
It is not recommended to be used for hand washing
Does adding a second sheet add to the cleaning power? If so, when is a second sheet needed?
Adding an extra sheet does increase the cleaning power but this is not needed unless you have an extra large load or a load that is extremely dirty.
Is it okay to cut the sheets in half to use?
Yes, but it is not recommended. Depending on load size, it may impact product performance. We recommend doing full loads because it saves energy and time.
Does one sheet equal one cup of traditional laundry detergent?
One Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ Sheet laundry sheet equals one standard dosage and contains enough laundry detergent for a full load of laundry. The formula is 10X concentrated and provides maximum cleaning power.
Will the color rub off on the clothes and leave a detergent stain?
No. Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ detergent dissolves fully in water, leaving the dryer sheet behind.
Is Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ safe for grey water, hard water and/or septic tanks?
Yes.
Are all the variants hypoallergenic?
The Pure & Clean variant is hypoallergenic; the other two variants (Spring Oasis and Tropical Escape) have not been through formal testing.
Where is the best place to store this product?
Similar to other laundry care products, a dry and cool environment is preferred.
Is there a way to pre-treat with this product?
The product is not designed to pre-treat. To pre-treat, use Zout stain remover.
Is the packaging or the sheet for Purex Complete 3-in-1 made of post-consumer recycled material?
No, currently the packaging and sheet do not use post consumer recycled material. However, Henkel is exploring using post consumer recycled material for future product updates of this product.
Is the Starter Kit recyclable?
The starter kit is made of Polypropylene (Recycle #5) and it can be recycled, but recyclability depends on local capabilities.
How similar are the ingredients in 3-in-1™ to the traditional products it replaces?
3-in-1™ is similar to traditional laundry detergents but in a much more powerful, concentrated form.
What is the physical laundry sheet made of?
The non-woven sheet is made of polyester and the material is not recyclable.
Is the formula safe for children/babies clothes?
Similar to traditional softener products, such as Dryer Sheets or Liquid Softener, Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ is not intended for use on children’s sleepwear or other flame resistant fabrics as it may reduce flame resistance.
Should my Purex® 3-in-1™ starter kit dispenser be completely full?
No. The dispenser is designed to hold 20 to 24 sheets and still provide extra room for easy dispensing.
Does hot water melt the fabric softener strip?
Most traditional washer machines do not exceed a hot water temperate of 140 degrees. At this temperature the dryer strip will stay intact and not dissolve. If the washing machine exceeds 140 degrees, the laundry sheet it may lose some but not the entire dryer stripe. It is recommended to keep the water temperate under 140 degrees and ideally on the warm water setting.
Is the softener time released? If so how does this work?
The softener is heat released, not time released. Once it is placed in the dryer with the wet clothes, the heat activates the built-in release technology and releases the softener onto the clothes. The load size and dryer setting dictate the amount of softener that is released. More actives are released with larger loads and at the medium heat temperature setting.
Is the packaging for Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ made of post consumer recycled material?
No, currently the product and packaging do not use post consumer recycled material. However, Henkel is exploring using post consumer recycled material for future product updates of this product.

Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ also features minimal packaging. The starter kit allows consumers to receive a dispenser that they can keep stocked with laundry sheets from the refill kits.
What do the variants smell like?
The Spring Oasis variant smells airy and fresh. Tropical Escape smells fruity and floral, (slightly more “experiential” in fragrance) and Pure & Clean has a subtle fresh scent.

Yes. The combined cleaning power of Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ is cheaper than purchasing detergent, softener and antistatic products separately.
How does spotting occur?
Similar to other softeners like liquid fabric softeners or dryer sheets, spotting can occur when the fabric softener ingredients are unevenly distributed on fabric. Spotting is usually temporary, especially if the spots are treated properly.
It should be noted that with certain fabric materials (including polyesters or other synthetic materials) spotting is more likely to occur. These fabric materials tend to attract more of the fabric softener ingredients than natural fibers (like cotton).
We recommend the following to minimize spotting:
If spotting occurs, rub with bar soap and rewash with warm water.

Five stars aren't enough! How about 10!! I live in a typical apartment in San Francisco, which means no storage space and I have to go outside of my apartment to do laundry. Storing and carrying big, heavy soap containers was a pain. Now I keep all my laundry supplies in a cloth bag, which I can transport easily back and forth and hang from the door knob in my kitchen.
I really love this 3-in-1 Purex complete sheets. I could not find any anti-static sheets locally and I already always bought the Purez products. So when this came out, YEAH!!!!, I don't use any other product. thank you Purex/The Dial Corp. Please don't ever discontinue these.

I was kind of sceptic about this product but i figured what can it do??? Just make me rewash clothes right??? I tried them and i dont think i will ever go back to anything else. I love these sheets. I have a front loading washing machine and I cut my sheets in 1/2 (lengthwise) and the clothes are still clean and fresh smelling. I love that my kids can just throw one in the washer and I don't have to worry about them wasting soap by putting in too much. I am a math teacher and the container from the starter kit is great for storing pencils, scissors, protractors, and other small items for my classroom. The containers are great because the they are stackable so I can easily organize my classroom supplies in the closet.

I have used Purex for years I bought one of each scent. I also bought one for my mother and my mother-inlaw so they could try them. I thought WOW, so simple no heavy jugs of soap,fabric softener to lug in and out of a cart, car or house. No measuring, No drippy nasty stuff on shelves or the dispenser getting gross. Talk about going green environmentally friendly, very little packaging. Then I tried them and was beyond impressed. Everything was perfectly measured for me and no guesswork. This is a wonderful product!! Not only are they great for home washing (especially heavy duty horse dirt covered clothing!) but also great for travelling. You can pack some in your luggage without problems and have it ready to go when you get to your destination! No buying little, overpriced boxes of soap, softener and dryer sheets. And, I, like some other reviewers have saved the used sheets for household clean-up, washing dishes, etc.

Boy am I glad this product is out. I love the way the laundry smells after the washing and drying, love the convenience of not having to carry many bottles around and it’s so easy to use. I recommend this product to everyone that hasn’t tried it. They last longer than soap detergent last as well since one sheet is good for one load!!! I am always telling co-workers about this great product. Clorox sheets would be a great idea as well!!!

I just have to say what a great idea!! I have rheumatoid arthritis, and it is very difficult for me to have to carry the laundry & fabric softener bottles, when i saw the ad on tv, i had to try it out, it is wonderful! Thankyou so much to everyone who thought of this! Also, I have a little suggestion, The white storage container for the sheets, maybe you guys can make different designs for the containers! Also, Bleach sheets would be a great idea! One less thing to carry, again thank you so much!
Wow! What a great product! I am a busy mom to three children (two have special needs). I don't have much time to do laundry and don't always remember softner of the dryer sheets when I am in a rush, which seems to be all the time! Now I can toss these in the wash and not have to worry about it or waste time measuring out liquids. Awesome job Purex!
My main reason for trying this 3 in 1 product was recycling. This will cut down on all those plastic bottles that we recycle. Once I tried the product, I can also say it did a great job. My laundry was even softer then before. Great product, keep up the good work!!!

I've always been a purex user, so naturally I had to try the 3-1 sheets. I LOVE THEM. What a savings. They really do work. I keep buying packs of them because I'm sharing them with my co-workers and friends so they can try them. I'm hoping they'll be around for a long time. Thank you for the great new product. My only problem now, I don't have a printer to print coupons and I can't find any anywhere.

I LOVE these sheets! I use the Spring scented ones for mine and my husband's laundry and the Pure & Clean sheets for my toddler's clothes. I love how much easier and convenient these sheets are to use, then 3 separate products (detergent, dryer sheet, stain remover). I also love that the smell isn't overpowering. They clean our clothes and leave them smelling clean and feeling soft. One thing I would like to see is maybe a stain fighter added (Purex 4-in-1? Ha!). My son gets stains on his clothes faster than I can clean them. I have had to continue to use a stain remover prior to tossing his clothes in the laundry. Other than that, I give this product a thumbs up!
these are perfect, just switched to these because I couldn't stand the ultra-concentrate stuff. Absolutely perfect, my clothes feel better on me, smell better, and overall they seem more clean. This product better stay around as I will be using these from here on out
I think this product is AWESOME!!!!! The wash turns out SUPER and the dryer turns out WONDERFUL!!! Why hasn't anyone ever invented this sooner? This is the only way to live, to wash with my PUREX!!! I love those Purex Complete 3 in 1 laundry sheets. They clean so well without having to add any extras. That sure saves money. I have a front loading washer and the fabric softener always gummed up in the drawer where you add the softener. Yuck, what a mess, but now I don't have that problem with the Purex sheets. Also, after I finish drying my clothes I use the sheet to clean the lint filter screen. Works great! I get all the lint off with very little effort. Gotta love this product!
We went to the beach and used this product for the purpose of decreasing the bulk of detergent and softener. I didn't expect much but I found myself loving it not only for its size but for its quality. Our clothes were soft and smelled terrific. I LOVE IT!! Great product

I love this product. I use Purex regularly anyway so when it came out, I had to try it. It is great for when you have to go to the laundromat and don't want to lug several bottles of laundry products with you. Also my brother-in-law is disabled and it is hard for him to pour things into a cup, so I asked him to give the Purex 3-in-1 a whirl. He raved about them and now swears by them. He also likes that he can just throw a couple sheets into a plastic bag and then he is off to do his laundry.

I sent this with my college freshman (son). He thinks they are great - takes up less space in the dorm room, one less thing to haul to the laundry room, no guesses about how much detergent or softner to put in and they clean and soften well. He even gave some to his roommate to try. I'm telling all my friends with college-age kids to give this a try. (Also eliminates a repeat of a nasty accident my older son had as a freshman - don't put your laptop and liquid laundry detergent in your backpack to head to laundromat -especially when the liquid laundry detergent's lid is not on tight)!

I LOVE this product! I love this product. We travel overseas and it is so hard to find a detergent that I can use. I have allergies. I take the sheets out of thier container and put it in a zip lock bag in my suitcase. Even for short tirips I take it so I don't have the bottles in my car.

When I saw the ads for this product I was very excited, when i found they had a hypo-allergenic version of the sheets, I had to try them. As a busy mom of three, including a toddler with severe eczema, this really cuts laundry time, and worry down. Please do not discontinue this product.
Wonderful Product - I purchased these sheets while on vacation to do some launry. My clothes came out white & smelling fresh. Ever since I purchased an HE laundry machine, my clothes have not been white, or smelling nice. I used the sheets when I came home from vacation, and for the first time my laundry was really white. The entire time, I was blaming the machine when all along it was just the detergent that I was using. Run out and buy the product, you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I saw these in the store and he talked me out of purchasing them because of price ... he thought the liquid stuff was cheaper. These are great for seniors and teens alike! I purchased these for my 89 year old father-in-law who was struggling with doing his own laundry. No more heavy jugs or remembering what to put in when. I must start out by saying I have been a loyal Tide and Downy user for 30+ years. If anyone would have told me that I would switch product, I would have cut off my arm first. However, with today's economy and tight budgets, I happen across the new Purex 3-in-1 in the supermarket. My money was tight so I bought the product against my better justment. Low and behold, this product made me eat my words. It is the greatest invention in laundry detergent. I was so excited about this, that I have convinced several of my co-workers to give it a try. I LOVE this product!! The clothes comes out smelling great and are really fluffy. I no longer have to measure laundry detergent or worry about messes. It saves time and makes doing laundry seem a little more bearable. I keep telling my friends about this great product. I have bought it several times and plan to continue using it.

What a great product! We were on vacation and I couldn't buy liquid because of airplane regs. I had heard about these and they are terrific! I use them at home all the time!
These sheets are fab, travelled around during 3 week vacation and bought these to do some laundry travelled home to UK and my friend think they sound fab. EXPORT TO UK PLEASE!!!!

I am a college student and it is such a laborious task carrying my laundry bag, a container of detergent, a container of fabric softer, and dryer sheets all the way downstairs. Not only that, but it is a hassle becuase I have to wait there for when the timer says put in the fabric softener. I am a huge skeptic so I bought the Purex 3-in-1 sheets and was absolutely amazed! This will make my upcoming year so much easier. It actually does what is says! I now recommend this to all my friends.
This is such an amazing product. I absolutely love it!! I love being able to just throw it in and my clothes come out perfect and smelling wonderful! The anti-static is probably the best part! :)

I was packing for vacation, while I was packing I saw an advertisement for Purex laundry sheets, went out and bought them to take on vacation, I absolutely love them!!!! They are so convenient!!!! All you have to do is start the washer throw a laundry sheet in and walk away, you don't have to worry about missing the rinse cycle and when your washer is done just throw your clothes along with the laundry sheet in the dryer and it is really that simple..... and I am for anything that makes laundry more simple!!!!! Now that I am home from vacation I use them at home... Great Product!!!!!!!! I wish someone wopuld have come up with this idea a long time ago!!!!

I use it weekly and LOVE not having to lug around jugs of STUFF into the laundromat. I have recommended it to ALL my friends AND mentioned it in my facebook status this morning while doing laundry! I don't usually buy Purex detergent, but this product is outstanding. I was concerned that using the Purex 3 in 1 sheet with dark clothes would leave laundry detergent stains on my dark clothes, however, this did not happen. I have clean, fresh smelling clothes. Good Job Purex!
tried this new product for the first time today. it was great!! my husband has very limited use of his left arm and hand. yes, he does help with the laundry. it was so easy for him not to have to struggle with a detergent bottle and remember the dryer sheet. i will certainly continue to buy this product and recommend it to my friends.

We picked this up because it was something new and thought what the heck. We are currently on our third week of use, and have found that it saves money and time, while providing wonderful fragrances. This idea was ingenious. Why didn't anyone think of this sooner? Thanks Purex!

I love it so simple now any one can do laundry in the family and nothing to waist. We used it on vacation. There is no question to how much or too much.
We live in our RV and rely on campground laundromats. This product saves me from having to lug heavy bottles of detergent and softener around and also eliminates the risk of spills as we careen down the highway. Great product and it seems to do a terrific job of cleaning, too.
I love the sheets and will continue to use them, there is no more static cling and the convience is great,it has cut down on my laundry time and I don't have to buy two seperate products thanks for the invention of this product

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! The Husband does too- and now I don't have to worry about him messing up the measuring and forgetting the softener. :-) I really like that there is no dripping or spilling all over the place and the package takes up a ton less room than bottles of everything. I have always used Purex and am thrilled that these sheets work as well as the ad says they do!
Love, Love, Love them. This product is really wonderful, great to use when teaching children how to help with laundry (with no mess for Mom to clean up) and a wonderful way to remind my husband to use fabric softner.

I have never commented on any product before now. However, I just wanted to take a few minutes out of my busy schedule to Thank Purex for making at least one task easier!!! I just used the product for the first time and it really works!!! The only thing I may suggest is that bigger size refills be made at about the cost of a large bottle of regular detergent. This will have women like me sold forever. The product is truly amazing!!! It was even featured on a local news channel. Congrats on a job well done for working moms.
