Purex^® Natural Elements^™

Purex® Natural Elements™ detergents are formulated with cleaning ingredients from plant based starting materials, fragrances that contain natural fragrance extracts, and naturally softened water. They have biodegradable, phosphate-free, concentrated formulas and come in recyclable bottles.

Purex® Natural Elements™ detergents include surfactants derived from renewable resources, such as palm and coconut. Additionally, the feedstock for all the surfactants used in Purex® Natural Elements™ is plant based. Only the final conversion into surfactants involves petro-chemically derived ingredients. Using renewable plant based surfactants reduces our dependency on oil.

If 200 million consumers buy just one 50oz bottle of Purex® Natural Elements™ detergent, they'll be preventing the release of over 6.3 million gallons of oil based surfactants.

Purex® Natural Elements™ is the first 2x concentrated laundry product to receive recognition from the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Designed for the Environment (DfE) program. The DfE Safer Product Recognition distinguishes chemical products that are safer for human health and the environment. This program makes safer cleaning products accessible to more people and makes safer products easier to identify. The program evaluates all ingredients in a product, and ensures that each is safer for people and the environment.
